FAQs
I work with children ages 5 and up, teens, and their parents. Every child is different, and I tailor my approach to meet them where they are.
Yes—in some situations, parent coaching alone can be incredibly helpful. We can focus on behavior, emotion regulation, or family dynamics, even if your child isn’t directly involved in sessions.
Sessions are $180 for a 50-minute appointment. I’m not in-network with insurance providers, but I can provide superbills for you to submit for possible reimbursement.
Yes—I offer teletherapy for children, teens, and parents throughout California using a secure video platform. Together, we can decide whether in-person or online support is the right fit for your family.
That’s completely okay—and very common. For younger kids, I often use play, art, and storytelling to help them express themselves in ways that feel natural and safe. For teens, I move at their pace and create space for honesty without pressure.
Parent collaboration is a big part of how I work. I’ll check in regularly to share insights, offer guidance, and help you support your child at home—while still respecting their confidentiality and privacy so they can build trust in therapy.
Not usually. Most sessions are held one-on-one so your child has space to build trust and express themselves freely. That said, I stay in close communication with parents and provide regular updates, insights, and tools you can use at home.
I offer a free 15-minute consultation to hear what’s going on and explore whether we’re a good fit. You can reach out through the contact form or email me directly—I typically respond within 1–2 business days.
