How I Can Help

Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, big emotions, or behavioral challenges, therapy can offer a calm, supportive space to make sense of what’s going on—and to start building new ways forward.

Common Reasons Families Reach Out

  • Anxiety, fears, or excessive worry
  • Emotional outbursts, meltdowns, or shutdowns
  • Trouble with friendships or social situations
  • Perfectionism, self-criticism, or low self-esteem
  • School stress, refusal, or behavioral concerns
  • Family transitions (divorce, relocation, grief)
  • Parent-child conflict or communication difficulties

What to Expect

Every child is different, and therapy is tailored to meet them where they are.

For younger kids, sessions often include play, art, movement, or storytelling—tools that help them express what they may not yet have words for. With teens, therapy tends to be more conversational, focusing on emotional insight, identity, relationships, and practical coping tools.

I collaborate closely with parents throughout the process. You’ll receive regular updates, reflections, and guidance you can use at home. At the same time, I hold your child’s privacy—because trust is essential to meaningful growth. Kids need to know they can speak freely in order to feel safe and supported.
